What is the difference between phenazopyridine and azo?

The best known phenazopyridine nonprescription product is Azo Standard. Azo Standard contains 95 mg of phenazopyridine per tablet and Azo Standard Maximum Strength contains 97.5 mg of phenazopyridine. The dosage of both is 2 tablets 3 times daily with or after meals as needed.
